Snow capped mountains

Taken in Snowdonia, the mountains in the background are The Snowdon horseshoe. This was an old image but it has been cropped.

Well i'm off on holiday tomorrow. Off to Northumberland, should have gone in Jan but the snow stopped us, so its try again time. Hopefully we will get there this time. see you all in a week .

Great shot of Snowdonia, another way for me now to remember this area.
Last time I was there as I recall in august 1981, it rains, it hurt myself climbing the Mount Snowdon and ended with 3 stitches ...I was only 15 years old!!!

A beautiful composition with interesting elements throughout, from the texture seen in the rocks and snow in the foreground, to the beautiful mountain range in the background. An eye-catching feature is the rounded hillside seen amongst the rather jagged terrain of the mountains. Have a great time in Northumberland!
