Good morning, Alun,
very nice swan and the reflection too. On my page you will also find black swans on the 09.06.2009. I made the recordings of Les Jardins d `Annevoie / Belgium. In Germany I saw last year, including black swans, unfortunately I did not have my camera with me. Swans are very intelligent, beautiful and majestic-looking birds. I watch them very often in our village. Swans always fascinate me. Fine start of the week for you and thank you for your comment. Sincerely, Christel

The black swans seem so rare to me. I have never seen one in person before so it's wonderful that you shared. This is an excellent image as well.

Love black Swans, we have one, so I'm told, on a small lake near Sainburys, must go take a look,
A great capture Alun.

Black swans always look a tad overdressed to us used to mainly white ones. That said, she looks to be making the most of the finery !

A cute capture with the swan bending his neck like that. I think the swan saw this photographic opportunity and he realized that his head was going to be cut off in the photo so he "bent down." I understand that this is how you probably framed this capture in post-processing, particularly with the nice reflection, and was not due to a poorly-framed subject. :-)
