One of my favourite place in West of USA. The point of view is imposing & colors are gorgeous.

I think that the trees in the image frames the canyon and gives a wonderful perspective. A great picture Alun. We were close to Bryce when we visited the Grand Canyon, but not close enough and I was really disappointed with my pictures. It is not an easy landscape to photograph. Well done.

What a fantastic shot, the tree adds a depth and scale and makes the viewer comprehend the scene before them. Great work.

Nice shot Alun...the tree? If you went back, could you? Would you change it? That's the view I guess and either side it does frame it...nice work!

yes, great shot! makes me want to hike on down! i have many grand canyon shots with trees in the foreground - i always liked that perspective - and i know i'm not alone. now, if we could just get those damn planes to stop leaving contrails everywhere!
