Excellent work 4 Mar 2009 11:48am Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United StatesI don't think that I would want to walk across this mud... chances are you would sink in it... 4 Mar 2009 1:07pm Cheryl from Texas, United Statesyou've captured a stark desolate scene and the essence of it very well. I love the textures of the foreground! 4 Mar 2009 1:09pm Mellofello from Bromley, United KingdomThere is something sad about a beach when the tide goes out. It's as though La Mere spread the treasures of the sea for all to see and ran away. Too shy to stay. This picture depicts this I think; a strong sense of melancholy. Lovely composition, Alun. 4 Mar 2009 6:19pm @Mellofello: thanks very much for your comments SKHallisey from San Salvador, El Salvadorcool shot, i like the difference btw the disorderliness of the rocky bottom and the parallels of the old dock well done 4 Mar 2009 6:34pm Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesI love this composition which provides a lot of depth. But I must ask what is on the ground? It looks like a lot of broken pieces of glass. 4 Mar 2009 7:55pm @Steven: cheers Steven, its stone and slate Cricket-Tammy from United StatesI have the same question Steven has above.
