WOW! an amazing close up of a bird in flight! I love the way you can see his legs and feet neatly tucked underneath. We can even see his pupil!! Great image Alun!!

Were you trying to make out yesterday that I didn't know what a birdwatcher was,i've been a birdwatcher all my life...How do you think I spotted your Mother ?...And stop talking about chips i'm ruddy starving...Serious now,this has got to be one of your best bird shots to date excellent work.

I have hundreds - perhaps thousands of examples proving how difficult it is to get good light and detail on a bird (any bird) in flight. This is really good, Alun. I love the rich detail of the eye, feet and wing tips - along with that lovely blush of blue and cloud beyond. A solid capture, perfectly composed.
