Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandLovely shot:-) fantastic greens and I really like the compo! 12 Oct 2008 5:15am Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesA splendid play of light and shadow here, Alun. (aren't you proud of me for refraining from suggesting that this is a haunting image?) 12 Oct 2008 5:27am @Stephen Phillips: very proud, cheers lisa v from Gawler, AustraliaI have a graveyard one up myself today just by co-incidence. I'm intrigued by how so many of these headstones are roughly the same height and shape. You don't usually get such uniformity. Beautiful light and colour and I like the leaves of the tree overhead. 12 Oct 2008 6:00am Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United KingdomReally good shot Al you've caught the feel of the place...You could have moved the bin and pulled that grass out of the wall though (!Shut up Father! ). ;>)) 12 Oct 2008 7:24am @Jeff: It's how it was, Some people have hours to play on photoshop, me I would rather be out taking photos :) cheers dad. grouser from Ludlow, United KingdomLovely light, picking out the edges of the gravestones and what a green. 12 Oct 2008 9:53am António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalVery good composition and wonderful management of light. 12 Oct 2008 10:14am Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomThe light is magical in this shot. Did you get to go into the Gwydyr Forest whilst you were there? 12 Oct 2008 11:14am @Richard_Irwin: Cheers Richard, to be honest we normally pass through stopping in the gear shops on the very wet days. we have walked up in one of the forests to a lake(Llyn Elsi).
