The 3 lights under the bridge are intriguing. 6 Oct 2008 2:17pm Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United KingdomOk,I give up,where is it ...Bet you couldn't spell the name...Nice Picci though. 6 Oct 2008 2:55pm @Jeff: This was taken in Rhayader Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United KingdomOk,I give up,where is it ...Bet you couldn't spell the name...Nice Picci though. 6 Oct 2008 2:55pm Mary from Aberdeenshire, United KingdomNice image with good composition. love the capture of water motion, i was trying to do this yesterday - but it did not work for me!! have to keep trying i guess. 6 Oct 2008 3:14pm Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesStrong composition on this one, Alun. Too bad the foreground is washed out - a neutral gradient would have been good here - or some highlight/shadow work in Photoshop. 6 Oct 2008 5:38pm @Stephen Phillips: The only way you can put colour back would be in raw photoshop. but this is a jpeg and the water is blown, which means there is no colour infomation in that spot. geting it right in the first place would have worked better, thanks for the idea Stephen Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomI would have liked to see the other half of the bridge aswell, too bad about the burnt highlights. Better to shoot RAW. 6 Oct 2008 10:02pm @Observing: Hello, its a funny old bridge, there isn't a hole arch, It ends just after you see it and the old house it goes into was bit messy, Cheers mate JJ from Jersey City, United Statessuch an interesting spot, a nice mix of nature and manmade especially with the lights mounted on the bridge 7 Oct 2008 12:03am @JJ: thank you very much dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Statesthis is gorgeous Alun! what a splendid composition! don't mind the burnt highlights here that arching movement of the bridge has all of my attention! wonderful! 7 Oct 2008 4:41am @dj.tigersprout: thank you very much for your kind comments |
