This was taken from the top of a cable car ride in the Dolomites in Italy. Its looking down to Pordoi pass. I'm off to London this weekend, meeting up with my brother Anthony(take a look at his blog. http://ant3269.aminus3.com/ ) So i will have to catch up with your comments on Monday. very impressive! it's often hard to get a sense of scale or height in pictures like these but you've definitely captured it. the light and color ain't bad either!

Good shot. Dramatic perspective, the cables make great leading lines as they drop into that vanishing point below.

Awesome! What a beautiful panoramic capture! But for someone who hates roller coasters and riding things that can sway, that would not be good for me to try to take a photo like that. Glad you were able to share! ;-)

I've just decided that I need to go to the dolomites!
Cracking shot - I love the composition with the rocks curving at the bottom and the cables channelling the viewer's eye down the mountain.
