From the pass

This was taken from the top of a cable car ride in the Dolomites in Italy. Its looking down to Pordoi pass.
I'm off to London this weekend, meeting up with my brother Anthony(take a look at his blog. http://ant3269.aminus3.com/ ) So i will have to catch up with your comments on Monday.

Good shot. Dramatic perspective, the cables make great leading lines as they drop into that vanishing point below.

Awesome! What a beautiful panoramic capture! But for someone who hates roller coasters and riding things that can sway, that would not be good for me to try to take a photo like that. Glad you were able to share! ;-)

I've just decided that I need to go to the dolomites!
Cracking shot - I love the composition with the rocks curving at the bottom and the cables channelling the viewer's eye down the mountain.
