That's really beautiful Alun, and despite my having "wallked" through most of the community's photos I missed this one on the thumbs.... sometimes a photo with these subtle colors and contrasts doesn't stand out well there. and frankly none of us have the time to sit and load over four hundred photos. I'm glad you commented on my photo today so I could get to see this one.

Vivid and effective landscape. There seems to be something different about this one and the Scottish cottage shot, and some of your other shots like the B&W of the castle. All are essentially landscape shots, but those two seem particularly vivid to me. I don't know what it is --something you're doing differently with regards to resolution perhaps?
