I actually have friends in the lake district. 2 May 2008 12:56pm @Henry: Thanks Henry, Were in the lakes are they from? cheers Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesThat's really beautiful Alun, and despite my having "wallked" through most of the community's photos I missed this one on the thumbs.... sometimes a photo with these subtle colors and contrasts doesn't stand out well there. and frankly none of us have the time to sit and load over four hundred photos. I'm glad you commented on my photo today so I could get to see this one. 2 May 2008 4:46pm @Earnest: Thanks for getting back to me, Im glad you came for a look. It is almost oppressively dark but with a hopeful lightness at the top. 3 May 2008 4:55am @Michael Rawluk: Thanks Michael. Ken McCoy from Orlando-Daytona Beach, FL, United StatesI love the soft feel to he image - well done! 4 May 2008 1:41am @Ken McCoy: Cheers Ken Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesVivid and effective landscape. There seems to be something different about this one and the Scottish cottage shot, and some of your other shots like the B&W of the castle. All are essentially landscape shots, but those two seem particularly vivid to me. I don't know what it is --something you're doing differently with regards to resolution perhaps? 5 May 2008 2:42pm @Twelvebit: Thanks for all your comments, I have no idea what is different. May be it's down to how much the others have been croped.? dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, United Statesthis is lovely... we have a similar phenomenon here in san francisco... lovely to watch... you have capture the creeping clouds beautifully! 28 May 2008 5:13pm @dj.tigersprout: Its great to see thank you Benoit Darrieux from Clermont Ferrand, FranceMaybe my favorite from your portfolio. I keep silence in front of a such beautiful nature. 18 Nov 2008 1:01am @Benoit Darrieux: Thank you for your comments |
