Amazing colors the bugs have - I like your focus and background color, it really brings out the flower's detail.

Very, very sharp and crisp! What 200 mm lens are you using with your 40D? I, too, have a 40D ... love it!

@Ron: It's the canon 70-200mm f/4 L. I had just got it and this was one of the first photos i took with it. It made me smile.

Great close-up Anthony. Hopefully those little critters don't ruin your flower to be. Looks like a rose-hip. However it is fantastic color and very interesting.
